Queen Joy Kenneth, 22, of Kogi state, Nigeria, has been crowned the winner of the just ended online version of Most Beautiful Model in Africa 2021. The pageant is the first of its kind for African models looking to advance their careers in fashion and modeling. Joy overcame 61 other contestants from other African countries and Nigeria to earn the title of Africa's Most Beautiful Model. The contest began on the 10th of February 2021 with an online screening, followed by online voting from fans and family of the participants, and ended on the 8th of March with Joy receiving the most votes, therefore being the Most Beautiful Model in Africa. In addition, two other Nigerians, Sunusi Muizat Eniola of Ogun state was named first runner-up, and Ibilola Ocholi of Kogi state was named second runner-up. Kenneth, who expressed astonishment after being named winner, stated that it is a dream come true for her modeling career. 'I can't believe that,' she said. I had no idea this would happen. I appreciate God for this wonderful honor, as well as my family, friends, and those who voted for me, as I strive to carry out my pet project of assisting the less fortunate." Mr. Adamu Zakari, the organizer of the online pageantry, stated that "the most beautiful model in Africa's pageantry" allows ladies from many African countries to compete for the honor of representing Africa in fashion and modeling. Young females who advance to the final round of the competition are given scholarships to complete their study or to start a business in order to become self-sufficient.
